We do this

Document review & assessment

Our team reviews your evidence against the units of competency for the qualification. We assess whether your experience meets the required standards under the Australian Qualifications Framework.

If we need anything additional, we will contact you directly. We aim to complete reviews within 14 business days of receiving a complete application.

5
We do this

RTO submission & qualification issued

Once your evidence is assessed as sufficient, we submit your application to our partnered Registered Training Organisation (RTO). The RTO conducts the formal assessment and issues your qualification certificate.

Your certificate is nationally recognised under the AQF and accepted by employers, licensing bodies, and migration authorities across Australia.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What is RPL?

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is an assessment process that allows your existing skills, knowledge, and experience to be formally recognised as a nationally accredited qualification — without needing to complete traditional study or training.

Do I need to attend classes or sit exams?

No. RPL is entirely evidence-based. You are assessed on the work experience and skills you already have. There are no classes, no exams, and no time in a classroom. You simply provide documentary evidence of your competency.

What if my work experience is from overseas?

Overseas work experience is absolutely valid for RPL. We regularly assist skilled migrants in having their international work history recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework. You will need to provide reference letters, payslips, or other evidence from your overseas employer.

What is a USI number and do I need one?

A Unique Student Identifier (USI) is a reference number that creates an online record of your training. It is mandatory for all students undertaking nationally recognised training in Australia. If you don't have one, you can create it for free at usi.gov.au — it takes about 5 minutes.

Is the qualification nationally recognised?

Yes. All qualifications issued through our process are part of the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and issued by an ASQA-registered RTO. They are accepted by employers, licensing bodies, professional associations, and immigration authorities across Australia.

What happens if my application is unsuccessful?

If your evidence is assessed as insufficient, we will let you know what is missing and give you the opportunity to provide further documentation. The assessment fee is for the assessment process itself and is non-refundable if the application is unsuccessful — please review our Refund Policy for full details.

How long does the process take?

The average turnaround is 14 business days from when we receive your complete documentation and payment. More complex qualifications (Diploma or Advanced Diploma) may take up to 28–35 business days. The estimated timeframe is shown on each qualification listing.
