Painter RPL Australia

Get Your Painting Skills Recognised With Think RPL

Painter RPL allows experienced painters and decorators to have their existing skills assessed. These skills may come from employment, subcontracting, self-employment, previous training or overseas work.

You can show your skills through work records and project evidence such as photographs, videos and client references. A practical assessment may also be required.

What Is Painter RPL?

Painter RPL assesses skills gained through work or previous training. It may cover surface preparation, material selection, coating application and safe work practices.

A qualification is not based only on your job title or years of experience. You must provide evidence and demonstrate the required practical skills and knowledge.

Not necessarily, but your evidence must demonstrate the full range of competencies required for the qualification.

Can Invoices and Business Records Replace Employer References?

They can support a self-employed application, but should be backed by project evidence, client references or practical assessment.

What If Most of My Experience Is Brush and Roller Painting?

One project may cover several skills, but more projects or additional assessment may be needed to meet all requirements.

Will I Need a Practical Assessment?

A practical assessment may be required where documents and project evidence do not fully demonstrate your painting and decorating skills.

Who Issues the Qualification?
